BootComp: 2023 comping planner and goal setter

Exciting news! I’ve been super busy writing two brand new books for compers, and the first one – BootComp – is now available to order on Amazon for £14.99.

The fun and motivational 2023 BootComp planner is designed for compers who want to take their comping up a gear. With weekly planner pages, monthly goal setting and challenges to test your prize-winning skills, it’s a great way to organise your hobby and focus on winning your dream competition prizes!

What you get for your money…

  • 12 in-depth and interactive challenges covering social media, creative comping, finding competitions, organisation and more!
  • hundreds of tips on improving your success rate
  • 63 ideas for comping goals – separated into easy, hard and tough!
  • reminders of all 2023’s special event days

If this sounds like just what you need to start 2023 with a bang, what are you waiting for?

Pre-orders have now finished – but don’t worry, you can still buy on Amazon via the link below!

BootComp FAQs

I had lots of great questions during my live launch event, so I’ve added the answers here!

When can I join the BootCompers Facebook group?
You can join now, following instructions on page 1 of the book! You’ll have to answer 2 questions on joining, and give a code which is in the book.

Will there be a new BootComp published every year?
The main 148 page Planner and Goal Setter will be updated with a new calendar in around September each year, and added as a new product on Amazon (I’m not sure yet whether I will sell directly, or if it will just be on Amazon).
There will be a cheaper 90 page planner available without the 12 challenges, containing just the planner & monthly review pages with updated event days plus the essential challenge pages (wishlist, tagging friends list etc).

Will there be a new password for the Facebook group each year?
No, once you’ve bought a copy of BootComp (or won one!) you’ll have lifetime access to the BootCompers Facebook group

Is it useful for people outside the UK?
The BootComp challenges and Facebook group will be helpful for non-UK residents, but you may find that the event days in the calendar are incorrect as most will be UK specific.

Can I buy from outside the UK?
BootComp is now available globally on Amazon.

I pre-ordered but haven’t received my copy
If you pre-ordered a copy of BootComp directly from me, they were posted on 28 November but have been delayed by Royal Mail strikes, so should be with you anytime soon. Please let me know if you still don’t have it by 19 December.

Are you new to comping?

If you’re a complete beginner, then BootComp may be a little advanced for you – but don’t worry, because I’m also publishing How to Win Competitions in 2023, my book for beginners! I’ll let you know as soon as that one is ready to buy.

Let me know if you have any questions about BootComp, and I’ll be happy to answer them!

  2. Heidi Spiller says:

Is there a way for you to put up a link, Di please, as I have received the book today but everytime I put ‘bootcompers’ in search on FB it comes up with bootcAmpers only :/ thanks for the book etc. I look forward to using the book etc. Happy comping xxxx merry Christmas

    • Di says:

Heidi I’ve sent you a link via email. I’m not sharing a link publicly because people who haven’t bought the book will click through to join, which makes my admin job harder as I have to double check all the requests!

  3. Please can you tell me if the book will arrive before Xmas .
    Thank you

    • Di says:

Yes! It was posted on 28 November so should be with you any time now.

    • KelleyP says:

Hi Di, thank you so much for sending the BootComp books out. Mine arrived today & I’m very excited to read & digest it properly. I have had a couple of amazing wins recently but I’m waiting until they materialise properly before posting about them. Also, well done on your Champagne Advent win. Good luck to all BootCompers in the months to come.

  4. Simone Crawford says:

My hubby is getting this for Christmas for me! I can’t wait!

  5. Deborah Garland says:

I’ve ordered and hope that 2023 is my year to start winning comps. So far this year I haven’t won anything although to be fair I only spend two Sunday’s a month entering. 2023 I plan to be much more organised and enter ‘effort required’ comps.

  6. KelleyP says:

I’ve ordered mine too, thank you Di and good luck with it. The only sad thing is I cannot participate in the “access to a new private BootCompers Facebook group with regular live events and Q&As for each challenge” as for a variety of reasons, mostly to do with my previous job, I’m not on Facebook. I also can’t take part in your Lucky Learners group, which is a shame.

    • Di says:

That’s a shame Kelley. I wonder if there’s a way you could get to see the videos I’ll stream in the Facebook group. I’ll see if there’s a way to download and share outside of Facebook!

  7. Julia Linsley says:

Will eagerly await delivery – looks like a lot of hard work must have gone into this Thankyou

  8. Diane Brook says:

    All ordered. Can’t wait! Xx
