Click to Win Competitions

Do you enter Click to Win competitions?

Click to Wins (or Click2Wins) are probably one of the simplest (and most boring!) prize draws you’ll find in the UK. All you need to do is register with the website, enter your email address, and usually complete a captcha, survey or view an advert. You can enter the same prize draw every day – and can usually enter it on multiple different websites too, increasing your chances of winning.

  • Giveaway Treasures look after some of the UK’s biggest competition magazine websites such as Marie Claire, Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, Ideal Home etc. Most comps are daily entry prize draws, although they also feature a lot of guess the number type instant wins. Their web addresses start with comps. eg.

At the end of this post is a list of Click to Win sites if you fancy trying your luck!

How are Click to Win winners contacted?

  • Giveaway Treasures sites will email you within 28 days if you win a prize draw (the sender’s email may be or and your prize will be sent out without you having to claim it. If you instantly win a ‘guess the number’ type competition, you will be shown a prize claim telephone number on screen to call.

Are Click to Win winners names published?

  • Giveaway Treasures list winners on each individual magazine site – click on the WINNERS tab at the top of the page.

Are Click to Wins worth the effort?

I asked SuperLucky readers if they’ve had much success with Click to Wins. Most agree that they find them boring – but have been successful if they focus their attention on just a few of the websites or prizes.

These prize draws are quick and easy to do on a mobile phone, but if your comping time is limited, I don’t think Click To Wins are a sensible use of your time! You’ll have more success finding and entering effort, purchase-necessary and local comps (see my post How to find low entry competitions for tips).

Click to Win Tips

  • Focus on a few smaller prizes at a time, entering daily to maximise your chances
  • Enter prize draws where there are multiple winners or local event tickets to be won
  • Save links to your favourite prizes into a new ‘C2W’ bookmarks folder in your web browser and then daily, right-click (ctrl-click) the folder name and ‘open all links’ to save time entering them.
  • Search your email inbox/junk/spam folders at least once a week for ‘Congratulations’ or ‘Winner’ just incase you’ve missed a winning email

When you click on the ‘real people’ link it says it’s closed down, just to let you know.

I had a win on one of these a couple of years ago, theatre tickets and cupcakes, lovely prize

  2. Jacky Westoby says:

I’ve been doing around 6 of these sites, for a few years now, 3 or 4 times a week-I’ve won theatre tickets; a lovely dried flower display; a garden planter worth £300 from a high end garden furniture site; dvd’s; board games etc-nothing startling, but there are some nice prizes out there, and they do publish the winner’s names regularly, so it’s all above board!

  3. Kimberley Francis says:

I was wondering if multiple of these sites are offering the same prize am I cancelling my entry by entering the same competition on different sites under the same company? Could not see anything about this in rules. Thanks in advance

    • Di says:

Every site you enter on, and every day you enter, gives you more entries into the same prize draw Kimberley, they’re encouraging you to do this as they make money from the ads every time you visit.

Why can’t I get clickswin at end of my enter of competition like I used to have not been able to enter these last three weeks

  5. Caroline Cordery says:

Does anyone know if you can see a prize list for the Bauer sites, to avoid clicking through 14 pages of prizes on each website looking for the new prizes? Is there any way to tell which prizes are featured on a smaller number of websites without going to the Official Rules of all prizes, just on the off chance that they don’t have a massive list of sites?

    • Achilles says:

Hi in the article above it says you’ll need to register for each individual site however for months I have been entering by simply using my email address in the box before the captcha/advert page after which it says congratulations you have entered. So are these counted or do I have to sign up login and then enter?

      • Sylvia Strawford says:

Yes they are counted. If you use sites like Take A Break, WinSomething, what you have been doing is the only way to enter these comps. Carry on what you are doing.

  6. To claim my prize what shoud I do now?

Hi, I’ve just started entering the daily Hearst competitions which ask you a question and then give you as a second entry if you share it on facebook. Only worry I have is that because I’m doing them every day and get through them so quickly, I’m worried I might be detected as a robot. Does anyone know if speed is an issue when entering click to win comps or am I okay. It would be jolly annoying if I were spending so long every day methodically entering these comps only for the company to be deleting my entries every day under the false assumption that I were a robot.

    • Di says:

I think the whole idea is that click to wins are as quick to enter as possible, to keep you coming back daily and earning the website advertising revenue! So I wouldn’t worry!

  9. Sylvia Strawford says:

I had a win in December 2018 with ‘ Take A Break’. I won a Galaxy hot chocolate hamper, a £250 Spa voucher,£250 towards a charity of my choice and also a Galaxy Hot Chocolate Hamper for them. I’ve been comping for 2yrs and have won some nice prizes with Click to Win.

  10. Kerrylyn John says:

Hi compete. I ‘ve been entering these daily clicks for a few weeks now. So if I was lucky enough to win something then I can t win again for 6 months??? After I ‘ve read through your comments. Where does it say this? Thanks for any help and advice. Good luck all x

    • Di says:

You can win multiple prizes, but can’t win two that are valued at more than £500 in a 6 month period from the Bauer group (which covers Click to Wins and Bauer radio/TV comps too)

  11. Joan Anthony says:

Good blog. I have only just found it after someone mentioned it on Latest Deals.
I have done quite well out of Click2Wins, particularly when they first started. You do have to do a lot to have much of a chance. I don’t mind that they are boring because I do them while watching TV but I can only do so many at a time and some days can’t be bothered with them. They do have some good prizes.
Just one point, one poster has said that you can’t win twice in 6 months. In fact my understanding of the T&Cs it that you can but you can’t win more than one prize that is worth more than £500.

I make full e use of any free time I have, even just standing in queues, to enter this type of comp. I have them set up on my phone. I have had a few wins – small amounts of cash, i pad etc. I know the odds arent good but I meticulously go through the same sites most days. Its a numbers game. I dont have a lot of time and would rather spend it this way than going round getting forms, buying products etc. I only focus on things I want

  12. Kim says:

    Hi all.
Great web page, thanks for sharing!
I’m fairly new to this competition thing, just wondered if anyone has a way to bypass the videos? X

  13. Stewart H says:

All you have to think is that by entering even just ONCE, it means you have 100% more chance of winning than if you didn’t enter at all. That’s what I keep telling myself anyway! haha

Right Click Open All Comps Up In New Tabs, Wait For Button To Become Available, Then Click Through Them All At The Speed Of Light, Website Done? Move To Next One, Repeat The Process…

  15. Stevie says:

Are these the type of competitions that bar you from winning from 6 months since your last win?

  16. Sarah H says:

Had been doing them for a couple of months but have decided its too much time and effort which i’d rather put into looking for and doing creative and low entry comps

  17. Chris says:

Thanks for all your work on this Di. I am with you on entering these – hard work for very little result. I did not realise how many sites had links for each prize. I rarely do them. I wonder what the odds are of winning a decent prize?

  18. Nikki Hayes says:

I’ve won a number of click to win competitions – but wins aren’t frequent and its a lot of work if you do more than a handful of sites. I’ve now handed that job over to my husband, he has had one small win in three months and is entering over about 40 sites (don’t know how he has the patience – I only used to do about a dozen sites myself).

  19. I only ever enter them through Take A Break and only ever once a week when I’m entering their weekly puzzle comps in the magazine. I’ve won twice with them but nothing huge, Food Show tickets once and a baby bath bundle the other

  20. Tony Metcalf says:

I’ve been doing them for just over a year, using about 20-25 of the sites, and had a fair few wins. They are very boring, I usually do them with a laptop on my lap while watching TV at the same time.
Not had any success with any of the prizes I particularly targeted, but won some where I’m sure I only had a few entries.
