Would you like to win a car?
What’s your dream prize? It might be a kitchen, a trip to America or a cruise – but I’m sure for lots of compers it’s a car! I was lucky enough to win a VW Beetle in a purchase-necessary competition, which you can read about it in this post from 2011. Although slogan competitions are few and far between now, there are still a good few car competitions about which require a bit of effort – and that means they’re easier to win!
Do you remember a few months ago I shared an easy Instagram comp to win the Benefit Citroen…. well, I’m delighted that SuperLucky reader Sandra was the lucky winner! There were 1162 photos shared with the hashtag (a good percentage of these weren’t valid regram entries), which is extremely good odds to win a car when you consider that a ‘Like and Share’ comp for a lipstick on Facebook can get 3000+ entries!
Current car competitions
Here are four current ‘purchase necessary’ prize draws where you can win yourself a car – these are NOT instant wins, the winner of the car will be drawn at random from every entry submitted. You will have to spend money to enter but that will reduce the number of entries significantly, so if it’s a product you will use then go for it! If you’re new to purchase-necessary promotions, read my guide here.
Osram – win a Vauxhall Adam
Buy an Osram LED lightbulbs at Tesco (only available at certain stores) – enter your receipt details at www.osram.co.uk.
Ends 28th February 2015, up to ten entries daily (one per receipt) and no driving licence required.
Covent Garden Skinny Soup – win a Mini
Buy a promotional pack of Skinny Soup and enter the code from the box top at http://skinny.newcoventgardensoup.com – T&Cs state you must supply the packaging if you are drawn as the winner, but the promoter has confirmed it’s fine just to keep the part with the code on.
Ends 1st March 2015, up to 4 entries daily (one per pack) and a driving licence is required.
Jazz Apples/Waitrose – win a Honda Jazz
Buy a promotional pack of Jazz Apples at Waitrose and complete the details from your receipt at www.waitrose.com/jazzapples – five runners up win a bike!
Ends 28th February 2015, only one entry per household and no driving licence required.
Britax – win a Range Rover Evoque
Buy a Britax Isofix car seat before 15th March 2015 and complete the entry form at www.britaxwinacar.co.uk – keep your receipt safe!
Ends 31st March 2015 and a full driving licence is required.
All four of these prize draws require a purchase – meaning low entry numbers – and that’s why I recommend them.
Another purchase necessary promotion is on Abra-ca-debora pancakes. You have to submit a unique code from the packaging at http://fiat.abra-ca-debora.co.uk/ before 30th November 2015 – keep in mind though, it’s an Instant win and there’s no guarantee the car will be won.
If you prefer an easy prize draw, you could win a Land Rover on the Joules Facebook page (ends 31st March 2015) – but whatever you do, don’t get tempted by the car giveaways on sites like MyOffers, GetMeaTicket and Swooosh. You’ll be bombarded with spam emails and phone calls – these sites are best avoided. Stick to car giveaways on websites and Facebook pages of promoters and brands you trust!
Top tip: tune in to your local radio station – dealerships occasionally do car giveaways on air, there’s one on Smooth North West this week!
Good luck – I hope to see a few more creative ‘win a car’ competitions in 2015 too!
