Ten great Valentine’s Day competitions

Valentine’s Day is on its way – and the usual flurry of related comps are starting to appear. For the last two years, a lot of the prizes were for a date night hamper or meals to enjoy at home – but now we’re over the pandemic, there are lots of businesses offering a romantic meal out as a prize!

I’ve been having a look on social media and in the shops, and have collated my favourite ten Valentines themed competitions so far for 2023 in this post! Make sure to check Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds for your local shopping centres, florists, radio stations and restaurants as I’ve spotted LOADS of local comps while doing my own Instagram, Twitter and Google searches.

You’ll also find lots of comps if you check the #ValentinesCompetition and #ValentinesGiveaway hashtag search results on Instagram, or try a search on Valentines win on Facebook or TikTok!

Don’t forget about Galentine’s Day too – this is on Sunday 13th February and a day for women to celebrate their female friendships! Check the #GalentinesDay hashtag on social media to find lots of comps.

4. Win £250 for the Valentine’s Day of your choice!

7. Win Zing Flowers – or an alternative prize! – with Radio X

Radio X are running an unusual on air competition between 6 February and 10 February 2023. Listen in to the Breakfast Show and text in when prompted (it will cost you standard rate, about 15p). One winner each day will be brought to air and given a choice of two envelopes – they will either win a Valentines bouquet from Zing – or beer, a game, £50 Greggs voucher, indoor skydiving experience or gin! 8. Win a trip to Paris

This Valentine’s promotion from Boofle is advertised on displays in Tesco but you don’t need to buy any Boofle products cards to take part! 10. Win a £100 Tree2MyDoor voucher

Tree2MyDoor are once again running their annual poetry competition! Share your witty or soppy, romantic or silly Valentines Day poem (maximum 150 words) by emailing your written poem with the subject ‘Vals Poem’ to hello@tree2mydoor.com before noon on 14 February 2023. Or you can send a 60 second video of you reading your poem using WeTransfer to hello@tree2mydoor.com. Their favourite poem will win a £100 gift voucher.
