What is Compers News?
Compers News is the UK’s most successful competitions magazine – it’s published monthly, includes hundreds of competitions, and subscribers can download the digital edition or view it online a few days before the paper copy lands on their doormat. There are loads of member-exclusive competitions in every issue. In addition to the magazine, subscribers have access to the private Chatterbox forum, for even more competitions, advice and chat! Compers News subscribers can also search and access all previous digital issues online, so you can find years of helpful tips (including the advice from my own monthly ‘Ask Di’ column!)
Compers News costs £4.95 a month by direct debit, but you can currently sign up and get your first issue for just £1*. If you subscribe before 10 November you’ll be able to select the December Christmas special as your first issue, and if you’re a little too late for that, you can still guarantee to receive the festive January issue if you sign up before 30 November. As you make the £4.95 payment each month, there’s no expensive annual subscription cost or commitment, so if you don’t enjoy the magazine then you’re free to unsubscribe at any time!
Festive stories and photos wanted!
Compers news Editor Steve is keen to hear stories about Christmas-themed comping and prizes, and would love to include your festive photos in the December and January issues of Compers News. It’s the perfect opportunity to relive Christmas comping memories, favourite festive prizes, amazing advent calendars, creative competition entries or winter wins! Perhaps you took a photo last December at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland or even the London Competitor’s Club Christmas meeting?
Don’t forget about your previous photo competition entries too – I know SuperLucky readers have been really creative with their Christmas themed entries. It could be a Heart FM creative challenge, a Christmas jumper selfie, fun snow sculptures, or your festive bakes… maybe you’ve taken a photo out and about to enter a Christmas competition? Even if you weren’t successful, it could be a great way to recycle your entry and give yourself a second chance to win a prize.
Steve is currently planning next year’s big Compers News creative competition, and all suitable entries from the SuperLucky Christmas photo comp will automatically be included in the 2024 Big Prize competition too!
