Win a dream holiday with Coke

Coca-Cola have launched a new on-pack promotion, with a chance to win a dream holiday for four people every day until 9th July 2017! It’s based on their popular ‘Share a Coke’ promotion, with destinations printed on the labels this time, instead of names.

How to enter

  • Buy a promotional ‘destination’ single bottle or multipack of Coke, Diet Coke or Coke Zero.
  • Look for your unique code, either under the bottle cap or inside the multipack
  • Register and enter your code at www.coke.co.uk/summer, selecting the destination you’d like to travel to if you’re the lucky winner – this does NOT have to be the destination on your bottle!
  • You can enter up to five different codes a day

The prizes

  • 61 x seven night holiday for four people to one of these destinations, including half board accommodation in a 4-star hotel and flights (or £500 travel allowance if in the UK):
Cape Verde, Mauritius, Toronto, Vancouver, Antigua, Barbados, Punta Cana, St Lucia, The Bahamas, Tobago, Costa Rica, Beijing, Shanghai, Dubrovnik, Hvar, Ayia Napa, Paphos, London, Biarritz, Nice, Paris, St-Tropez, Berlin, Corfu, Crete, Mykonos, Budapest, Bali, Dublin, Florence, Rome, Venice, Tokyo, Singapore, The Maldives, Cancun, Tulum, Marrakech, Belfast, Lisbon, Madeira, The Algarve, Hong Kong, Edinburgh, The Seychelles, Cape Town, Sri Lanka, Seoul, Barcelona, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Majorca, Marbella, Menorca, Tenerife, Zanzibar, Bangkok, Koh Samui, Phuket, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Boston, Miami, New Orleans, New York, San Diego, Hawaii, Los Angeles, Hanoi, Cardiff, Stockholm, Split, Sorrento, Copenhagen

All entries (regardless of destination) received before midnight go into the daily draw – the winner will be chosen at random the next working day, and contacted by email within 24 hours of the draw. If you win, the prize is a trip to the destination you entered for!

The promotion is open to residents of England, Wales, Scotland, IOM or the Channel Islands, aged 16 or older.

NEW! For the Irish version, there’s a holiday to be won every weekday until 30th July 2017 – and you can enter at www.cocacola.ie/summer (purchase necessary in ROI, no purchase necessary in NI)

Check the FAQs at www.cocacola.co.uk/summer/FAQ and also the T&Cs.

The final daily draw closes on 9th July 2017, but late entries will go into a draw to win one more holiday – this closes on 29th September 2017.

Tip: the letters can be hard to make out. If your code isn’t accepted, try replacing a O with a zero or a Q, and a Y with a V.

'Share a Coke' holiday promotion 2017

What are the odds of winning?

Coke kindly inform us in their FAQs that 110 million promotional packs have been produced (if only brands like McCain and Walkers would follow suit and share this information!)

For a unique code promotion you would expect between 1% and 5% of codes to be input online. I’m also guessing that maybe about half of those Coke bottles will be sold in the next 61 days (with lots being sold in July, August and September, before the final late entry draw). So, with a bit of maths we can guess that if only 1% of codes are input, each day’s draw will have:

110 million divided by divided by 61 multiplied by 0.01 = around 9,000 entries

Wow! So even with my (rather optimistic) estimates, this promotion doesn’t offer very good odds of winning a prize – so perhaps only worth entering if you buy Coke anyway. It’s a great opportunity for womblers to take advantage though – perhaps you work somewhere that sells Coke, or have lots of teenagers locally who like to drop litter? Keep an eye out for those codes!

Will you be entering this promotion – and if so, which destination will you try for?

I am not on facebook or twiter does this mean I can not enter your promotions and seeing as I bought a 12 multi-pack of Coke and got a card with a code to enter, it seems unfair

  2. John says:

Dear minty keep submitting the codes as it’s possible you could win a holiday like me . It only took me one entry to win but it could take you more , but don’t give up.

  3. John says:

Dear minti please keep submitting the codes it’s not a scam . It’s true I have already received my airline tickets and hotel reservations so don’t give up you might be lucky like me. Best of luck.

  4. John says:

Dear Cara b81 there is no need to keep anything just submit the code on the inside of the label on the bottle of coca cola and follow the instructions it’s very simple . And the best of luck.

  5. John says:

I only entered once . It was on a Saturday and on the next Tuesday I got a text saying I’d won a holiday to Lanzorate for 4 of us . I can’t believe how lucky I am , it’s fantastic all that lovely sunshine in October all thanks to Coca Cola their the best .

  6. John says:

If your not in you can’t win. I submitted an entry and I won . Now I’m off to Lanzorate in October

  7. Minti says:

    Hello,

I have a few those small cola bottles of 330ml, and they say- to enter , twist and remove label and enter code on reverse at coke.co.uk/holiday. Non of those codes works, and it’s a 12 digit number code too…

Do they trick us just to buy it more ? 🙁

Does anyone have a link to the page where I can enter the code? The URL on my pack just brings me to a page which tell me to go the URL on my pack.

It is coke.co.uk/summer. Any ideas, anyone?

  9. Clara Cort says:

We buy the big packs of Coke Zero every week so I’ve only entered twice so far, but maybe I should start to check the open rubbish bins during my beach walks? Maybe I could score some extra caps…even though I might be labelled the crazy rubbish lady 😀 For me, the difficult part is to decide a destination..there are so many great ones. I’ve entered for Hawaii and Maldives….but love all the other exotic islands (Seychelles, Caribbean) and all the US destinations….

    Excellent!

  11. cara b81 says:

Do I need to keep the lids/ bottles or labels (or receipts?) for this one? I can’t see anything in the terms.

    • No proof of purchase required – unless you’re up to something naughty – it does say “In the event of suspicious activity the Promoter reserves the right to request proof of purchase” in the terms!

  12. Karen says:

I’m going a bit crazy for this one and am determined to enter at least once every day, regardless of the odds!! I’m not fussy on the destination but would love New York most of all

  13. Vanessa F says:

Thanks for the info, Di. At least I know now to disregard the competition, because Northern Ireland isn’t eligible to enter! 🙁
I’ve already seen the promo on bottles in my local shop, so it’s even more annoying. I guess it’s because Coca-Cola Ireland covers both north and south and this comp is done by Coca-Cola GB but it still feels a tad unfair.

    • How odd that the promotional bottles are there! Although I did hear rumours there would be a different version of the promotion for NI so keep your eyes peeled!

      • Vanessa F says:

Yes, I tweeted CocaCola Ireland about it and they told me to keep an eye out for an announcement next week, so we shall see!

  14. Caz Russell says:

Tried to enter yesterday (the first day of the competition) and today but all i keep getting is ‘oops is that pin right?’ and nothing seems to work!!?

    • I had that with one of mine – the code pictured above that starts FOTLY was actually FQTLV, believe it or not! Do you have any Ys or Os in yours?

      • Caz Russell says:

Literally tried about 5 different codes and on one of them there was a zero, Y and V. tried every combination changing them but nothing worked :’) I’m definitely on the right destination website as well 🙁

      • Gaynorfay Spanswick says:

I found it easier to see it if you hold it up towards the light or the window.

  15. Lee Gardner says:

I will definately be entering as really need a summer holiday. Gotta be in it to win it
