Selfie Success!

Every weekend on the blog I’ll be sharing a set of Winners Stories from SuperLucky readers to keep you entertained. This week I’m featuring some brave selfie fans who won prizes last year…

Amy won a prize with her mellow yellow emoji selfie…

“I was really pleased with my entry in the Sudocrem Emoji face competition back in September. I thought I’d go the extra mile and paint myself yellow, and my husband suggested the rubber glove! I was delighted when I was picked as one of the 3 winners and got a £100 Mothercare gift card which was really handy to get bits for my youngest son!”

And Ann won a prize in the same competition with this lovely family selfie!

“I absolutely love using my pictures to enter photo comps -I was one of three lucky winners chosen for the ‘Sudocrem emoji face’ £100 voucher!”

Elysia took an out-of-this world car selfie for a Jelly Belly competition!

“I have recently really enjoyed doing the creative competitions and this one was my favourite of the year! It’s also poignant because of the death of Carrie Fisher. I spotted a competition on Twitter with Jelly Belly Air Fresheners to win a huge hamper of Jelly Belly products. All you had to do was a post a selfie of yourself in the car with a Jelly Belly air freshener. Such a simple competition, yet there were about 10 entries, none of which had followed the brief (they were photos of their car air freshener, or them in the car without the air freshener). I went straight to the shop and bought the product, got my Princess Leia costume on, and cellotaped my green screen onto the car window. The neighbours must have thought I was crazy! I edited my own out of this world selfie and won the hamper.  I suspect I will be eating Jelly Belly beans for a good few years!”

And Emma won a hamper from Forman & Field with her selfie…

“Instagram didn’t have much appeal for me in 2016 with mostly regram competitions, but I did win from Forman & Field when they asked for ‘F is for…’ entries. I chose festival which was a bit different. I won a huge fudge hamper that I saved for my daughter for Christmas!”
