Resources

Welcome to the SuperLucky Resources section, a list of the websites, publications and tools I recommend for entering competitions, running competitions – and for blogging too. I’m a regular user of everything I mention below!

Some of the links below (marked with *) are affiliate links – so if you click through to visit the site, and decide to buy, I will earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Resources for compers

Roboform* is a form filler and password manager. Use Roboform Everywhere across all your devices.

Evernote* is a note taking app that helps you organise your comping to-do lists, links, unique codes and receipt photos.

A Prize Spreadsheet is the easiest way to keep track of your prizes. Use my Google Drive template, and go to File > Make a Copy to create your own.  You can also use a similar spreadsheet to create a shopping list of on-pack promotions!

SuperLucky Secrets is my book of a hundred comping tips, and full of ideas to help you become a successful comper. Available as a paperback or e-book.

Compers News* is the UK’s only printed magazine for compers, and is available on a monthly subscription (you also get access to the digital edition and a chat forum!)

Resources for promoters

Gleam* is a super flexible, embeddable giveaway tool for your website or Facebook page. Basic Gleam is free to use.

The CAP Code is the rulebook for UK promotions, and the CAP website is full of advice to ensure your promotion is compliant.

The ASA enforces the CAP Code. Their website offers advice on the essential T&Cs required for any prize promotion.

Resources for bloggers

I use Siteground* hosting for SuperLucky and have been impressed with the reliable performance and customer service.

It’s easy to create email newsletters with Mailchimp*, and it’s free to use for up to 2,000 subscribers.
