A little bit of luxury…

If you’ve been a SuperLucky fan for a while, you’ll know that, as well as sharing my own prizes and experiences, I ask readers to tell me about their own favourite wins so I can share them on the blog. In January 2017 I had more emails than ever – over 200! – so it’s taken me a while to read through them all. I’d also like to congratulate Cara Benrose-Williams, who was chosen at random to receive a £50 Amazon voucher!

Over the next few months I’ll be sharing a handful of winners stories every Saturday to keep you entertained and inspired! To launch the series, the first set of winners all had a taste of the VIP lifestyle in 2016, as a result of comping…

Linda enjoyed the celebrity lifestyle in Monte Carlo…

“I was very lucky to win the Mars ‘Live like a footballer in Monte Carlo’ competition, a 3 night stay plus £750 ‘pocket money’, after purchasing a Mars product in a participating garage and texting my details. I was flabbergasted to win! We flew club class from Heathrow, were greeted at Nice airport and escorted to our waiting helicopter for the flight to Monte Carlo, and then taken by chauffeur driven limo to the hotel…WOW!!!!”

“Our sumptious hotel was a stone’s throw from the famous square and Casino – what an eye opener – we sat at The Cafe de Paris people watching and sipping our very expensive coffees. We had a 2 hour motorboat trip around the harbour and along the coast to Italy and back, and spent a morning driving a Maserati and Ferrari along the Grand Prix course and into the mountains… we got used to this life very quickly! All too soon our chauffeur driven limo arrived and we were whisked off for our helicopter ride back to Nice, the club lounge to relax in and club class back to Old Blighty and reality! What a win!”

Natalie enjoyed a stay in a luxury suite in North Yorkshire…

“I won a weekend break staying in the fabulous Maltby Suite at Crathorne Hall, Yarm, North Yorkshire, courtesy of Handpicked Hotels and Amarula. We also had a bottle of Amarula and branded coffee cups waiting in the room on our arrival! It was a fabulous weekend and would recommend it as being well worth a visit if you’re ever in North Yorkshire.  The receptionist told us that, apart from Lord Crathorne’s Suite, the Maltby Suite is the best in the hotel due to the fabulous balcony and views across the estate!”

Gillian won a fabulous Wimbledon competition at Asda…

“One of my favourite wins of the year was a 2 night stay at Stoke Park Country Club, Spa & Hotel, won from a competition during Wimbledon – you had to buy some a Stella Artois from Asda & enter your details online. I was thrilled when I received a winning e-mail! My husband & I had the most memorable weekend – 2 nights at Stoke Park including breakfast & dinner on both evenings, plus a 60 minute tennis lesson with a professional. They even gave us £100 to buy tennis shoes and £400 spending money!”

“We took our break in August and scored with the weather. It was a red hot weekend, with beautiful blue skies. We had one of the most luxurious rooms with a selection of gifts laid out for us including champagne, fresh fruit, luxury chocolates and a beautiful hard backed book on the history of Stoke Park. It was V.I.P all the way and one of those wonderful comping experiences that we will always remember!”

Susan won a stay at the five star Langham Hotel in London…

“I won a competition on the Classic FM website for a wonderful overnight stay at the Langham Hotel and tickets to the National Children’s Orchestra for my husband and myself. It was such an amazing experience – both my husband and I were moved to tears during the concert. The young people were so talented and the music was beautiful. The Langham Hotel was nothing short of perfect – we felt so lucky to have won such an amazing prize!”
