WANTED: Your Superlucky stories!
So that’s where you, my lovely blog readers come in… I’ve recently received lots of great messages, emails and Facebook posts about fabulous prizes that you’ve been winning as a result of reading my blog, or spotting a comp at the SuperLucky Facebook page or on Twitter… and I want to know more. Yes, I’m nosey – but what’s wrong with that? After all, I tell you all about my favourite competitions and prizes and the daft things that Ry and I get up to – so it’s about time I heard a bit about your wins too!
Over the next few months I’d love to feature some ‘guest posts’ from readers – I don’t want SuperLucky to be neglected when I start blogging at The PrizeFinder, so I need help to write some fun posts. Your story could be about your first attempt at a photo competition, an unusual prize you’ve won or a video that you’re proud of – if my blog has helped or inspired you in any way then I’d love to hear more.
As a thankyou, anyone who sends me a story (whether I use it on my blog or not) will be entered into a random draw to win a yummy Biscuiteers London box …simply because I LOVE the postbox biscuit that you get in it!
You don’t need to write me an essay – just a few paragraphs and photos (or you can send me links to photos or videos if that’s easier) will do – email me at superlucky@mac.com before 31st December 2011.
Looking forward to hearing from you – and thanks again for all your good feedback; I’m excited to know my ramblings have resulted in so many brilliant prizes for you all!

I just love entering comps….and even better i love the creative ones…I get my kids involved too and they have won toys..My husband is a keen photographer and i am learning and just love to see what comps you have so i can enter…
Aw thank you both… And Squeaky I’ll definitely schedule in my next Nottage stay to coincide with your comp club meeting. I’m sure we can do a photo shoot there for some daft comp or other too! Heh heh.
How’ve you inspired me? Well, my late night photography sessions are becoming a habit, I’m finally training my husband to take a decent, silly, comp photo (see my campbells soup in the shower photo!), and I don’t care if I look a bit daft if there’s a chance of something in it for me in the end. I’ve learned to spot the low-entry comps, to make myself stand out (even if only a little bit), and to enjoy it along the way.
Oh, and from a random chat on your facebook page, I’ve made some fab new friends & we had the first meeting of our South Wales compers group last week. You can be guest of honour next time you’re down this way!
You inspire me on a daily basis Di. Sometimes when comping you reach a bit of a lull when your luck appears to disappear and weeks pass without a glimmer of a win. The motivation to keep entering can tend to wain somewhat but from following you on twitter and facebook and reading your enthusiasm about comping, being creative with video entries (I don’t possess the artistic streak unfortunately) and reading of your lovely wins, it gives me a much needed boost and a virtual kick up the bum. Keep motivating us compers!! and thank you for all you do x
