Amazon Competition Winner!
Thankyou to everyone who entered my competition on Facebook to win a prize of your choice from Amazon! Of the 421 that entered, I was amazed to see that almost half of the entrants didn’t follow the instructions – I wanted an Amazon shortlink to a product costing less than £25, but I got lots of fabulous random answers like ‘a babysitter’, ‘an engagement ring’, ‘a car’ and ‘not sure yet’. It might explain why a lot of you haven’t been very lucky with your comping yet – it’s worth taking a little time to read the rules and the terms and conditions!
This evening I collated all the entries into a spreadsheet and employed random.org to choose a winning number for me. That lucky number was 419, and you can imagine how delighted I was to see the dream prize of that particular entrant….

I think a post reminding your fans on the importance of following rules would be good, I just closed a blog comp and I was shocked how many people didn’t actually answer the question I had asked and then one of the entries I liked as the winner didn’t leave a contact address and as i said in the blurb, if I can’t email you you can’t win!
