7 things about me
1. I have a degree in Electronic Imaging and Media Communications from Bradford University. I still don’t know what to do with it.
2. The first dance at my wedding was the Hokey Cokey. Because of my new surname, you see.
3. I’m an indie kid at heart; I saw the Stone Roses in Walsall in ’89, Nirvana in Wolverhampton in ’91, and dyed my hair pink to follow Green Day on tour in ’95. I just wish the memories weren’t drowned in a haze of K cider.
5. My Dad insists that Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale in Eastenders) is my second cousin. Hours of research on www.ancestry.co.uk have still not proved this claim to be true (thankfully).
6. I speak – and read – a little Japanese. 面白い ですね.
7. Last year I dined at the ‘world’s best restaurant’, Noma in Copenhagen. The truffle course was awe-inspiring.
Now, here’s the hard bit. I’m supposed to tag 15 other bloggers here but lots of my super friends have already posted up their 7 things, so I’ve tagged just six of my favourite bloggers…go for it girls!
@jojoebi
@compergrapevine
@rosiescribble
@laralain
@melaina25
@no1headhuntress

Great list! Ian Beale, Green Day, Bungee Jumping…fantastic stuff! xxx
I laughed out loud at the Ian Beale part and the fact you did hours of research. I’d have done the same! Thanks for the tag.
mine is done.
headhuntress – I have many a photo with Di with that kind of expression, different coloured hair though!
Di – I can’t believe that you are no long related to Ian Beale – afer all those years bragging about it at uni!
I’m rubbish on following through on these but I will try my best 🙂
Oh my god you could have warned me of that Bealey horror! I nearly dislocated my jaw! :-0
Great facts, and I’m lovin the pink hair (you sure it was just Cider? I’m going to check your pupils closely…) LOL.
Glad to have tagged you in your first Meme, oh and Bon voyage for Friday xx
Ah, I’d almost forgotten about Ian Beale’s moustache until it popped up on my Google search earlier. It really is splendid!
I was veggie for 14 years, then started eating fish when I went to Japan, and now a little meat too. Perhaps if you went to Noma you could ask for 8 different truffle courses!
Ah, I do so love the slightly squiffy looking pink haired green Day picture, that’s a beaut!
Very impressed that you have bungee jumped, I absolutely would never, ever, EVER!
I am most jealous that you have dined at the best restaurant in the world, I miss fine dining, vegetarianism takes all the fun out of that.
But I can’t believe that you will not admit to being related to Ian Beale, he is a fine specimen of a man, especially with that sexy toshe.
I am most flattered that you have got me down as one of your favourite bloggers, that in itself, surely deserves a prize!
