Blogaversary competition *now closed*
To celebrate my Blogaversary I’m running a special competition which will be open to all my readers – yes, even the ones in Latvia and South Africa. There will be two prizes of books from www.bookdepository.co.uk, who ship worldwide for free. Hurrah!
To enter, I’d like you to comment on this post and tell me which book you would like from the Book Depository website (leave an ISBN number too if possible) and why you would like that particular book – please ensure the cost of the book is below £15! To validate your entry I will need you to either be a Follower of my blog (you will need a Google account for this) or a Fan of the new SuperLucky Facebook page (just click ‘Like’ to join). Please mention which of these you have done in your comment, and if you’ve done the second option please leave your Facebook name so I can contact you if you win.
The deadline for entries is Friday 28 January at midnight, and I will choose two winners who will receive their chosen books. Depending on my mood, I may pick touching, amusing, ridiculous or inspiring entries, so have a good think about why you want that particular book!
If you’d like to Tweet or Share on Facebook too, that would be lovely (but it’s not a requirement) – good luck everyone, and thanks for your support!

This is such an interesting and fascinating story one I have been looking for for a time. Thanks for the comp.Pinksock (compersnews forum)
Greetings.
Happy Birthday.
Having a great time looking
over all the wide selection
of books, I have selected
Broken by Shy Keenon,
IBS 10- 0340937440.
The reason because I enjoy
reading inspirational books
of real people. Shy seems
to have overcome her brutal
childhood. The book reminds
me of another memoir of abuse
Unbeaten the story of my Brutal
Childhood by Kim Woodburn,
the Queen of Clean. The book
is hard to find but well
worth the effort to read it.
Wow, you have sure won
a great bunch of “stuff”
WTG. keep on winning eh.

The reason being, my husband treated me to my Lumix G2 camera to help with my comping, but sadly I am pretty rubbish 🙁 I’d love to learn how to get the most out of my new toy and not get frustrated when I know what I want to do, but don’t know how to go about it!! I want to make my hubby proud 🙂

Hi Di happy Biogaversaryand thank you for celebrating with a comp.
I have just enrolled for a photography short-course and would like a book to help inspire me. I have yet to get the hang of posting photos but when I shoot some good ones I will want to share them. @144addycombe on Twitter My choice:
How to Photograph Absolutely Everything
SubtitleSuccessful Pictures from Your Digital Camera by Tom Ang
ISBNISBN 13: 9781405333078
I’d love to win ‘How to be a domestic goddess’. This is a book that I love and I have dipped into many times at my sister’s house as she has a copy. Sadly she’s emigrating to Australia soon and I’m dreading that as I’ll miss them so much. I’ll also need to finally succumb to getting my own copy of Nigella’s classic and find a way to cram yet another cookery book onto creaking shelves. #

I would like to win this because although my son is 24 he still has a Christmas stocking! He loves books like this – and by next Christmas he will be approaching the end of his Ph.D. and working even harder than he is now (he is often in the lab until 8.30 pm having started at 8.30 in the morning), so something light to read at the end of the day would be ideal.

Hi Di!! Happy Blogaversary!! I’ve very recently got into comping and you are my new hero!
If I won I would love “Wreck This Journal:To Create is To Destroy” by Keri Smith. It’s an ‘alternative’ journal with a different way to destroy or wreck it on every page like “poke holes in this page” or “cover this page with white things”….my friend had a copy a while ago and she was always running round with it doing fun stuff and quite frankly….I was well jell!! Hi Di, happy blogaversary!
If I was lucky enough to win, I’d choose “Let Me Tell You About Alex” by John Virgo.(ISBN 13: 9781843588825 ISBN 10: 184358882X) Anyone who’s met me will tell you I’m a huge snooker fan. Though I haven’t been able to get to any tournaments since my daughter was born, I treated myself to a ticket to see the Snooker Legends tour last year, mainly in order to watch Alex Higgins, as I’d never had the opportunity to see him play live. Unfortunately, he had to withdraw due to illness, and passed away shortly after. This book (which actually isn’t out ’til 1st Feb) looks to be an honest reminder of a hugely troubled talent.
I’m already following the blog & a facebook fan (Lorraine Cooper)
