McVitie’s Britain’s Got Talent promotion – win your golden buzzer moment!

McVities are celebrating a new series of Britain’s Got Talent with a great on-pack promotion. You can ‘win your golden buzzer moment’ – tickets to the semi finals, final or dress rehearsals of BGT, with each prize including accommodation and £200. Best of all, you can even win an amazing trip to the US to see the America’s Got Talent Final (including £5,000 to spend!)

How to enter the McVities prize draws

There are four separate prize draws, with the prizes dependent on when you enter. Check the dates below to make sure you’re available, before entering – the Britain’s Got Talent Semi-Finals and Finals are in half-term week (when it’s the Jubilee Bank Holiday).

• Purchase a promotional packet of McVities (Hobnobs, Digestives, Penguins, Jaffa Cakes, Rich Tea, Fully Coated, or VIBs),
• Scan the QR code on pack – or go directly to www.mcvitiesbgt.co.uk
• Complete your details on the entry form and submit!

Each person can only enter once per day, and can have a maximum of ten entries in each of the four separate draws, and win one prize per draw. T&Cs do state that each prize draw entry must be a separate purchase with a new till receipt, and you should keep your original itemised till receipt for each entry. Terms also state that your receipts ‘must be dated within the Promotional Period for the prize draw that is being awarded’ – so make sure you buy the product and enter in the same prize draw period!

What prizes can be won?

There are four draws in total, with different prizes depending on when you enter. 

The main prizes of Britain’s Got Talent tickets also include £200 cash travel allowance and one night’s accommodation for two at a 3* hotel in Central London. Ticket dates will be allocated but cannot be confirmed until the prize is claimed, and winners cannot choose their ticket dates. The venue is London Hammersmith Apollo and guests must be 14+. 

Draw 1 prizes (for entries between 7 March & 31 March)

• 15 x Pairs of Tickets to a BGT Dress Rehearsal (3 winners each for the semi finals on 30 May, 31 May, 1 June, 2 June, 3 June – or the final on 5 June) including:
  • a VIP pass to go backstage with one of the crew and observe how the Production team prepare for the live shows
  • a chance to the acts up close and personal and get your photo taken with your favourites
• 110 x pairs of personalised BGT and McVitie’s mugs

Draw 2 prizes: enter between 1 April & 9 May

• 35 x Pairs of Tickets to the BGT Final (on 5 June)
• 65 x Pairs of Tickets to a BGT Semi-Final (on 30 May, 31 May, 1 June, 2 June or 3 June)
• 110 x pairs of personalised BGT and McVitie’s mugs

Draw 3 prizes: enter between 10 May & 15 July

• 1 prize of a trip to the America’s Got Talent Final (including 2 return economy flights from London to LA, airport-hotel-airport private transfers, 7 nights in a 4* hotel and taxes, plus £5,000 travel and spending money – the date of the trip is not known)
• 110 x pairs of personalised BGT and McVitie’s mugs

Draw 4 prizes (late entry): enter between 16 July & 31 December

• 20x pairs of personalised BGT and McVitie’s mugs

When are winners informed?

Winners of each draw should be informed by text message within 14 days of the closing date. The message will contain a unique claim link where winners can provide their details and upload a proof of purchase (receipt photo) to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of the first contact, a replacement winner will be selected. Mug winners will be asked for their choice of name for each mug (limited to 9 characters).

The McVities Britain’s Got Talent promotion is open to UK residents aged 18+, and there’s a no purchase necessary entry route for Northern Ireland residents (see terms and conditions for info).
