Amazon Prime Day Sweepstakes – win over £1.6 million of gift card prizes!

Amazon Prime Day is on 12 and 13 July 2022, and to celebrate they are giving away over 15,000 gift card prizes – including thirty £5,000 Amazon gift cards – in the Prime Day Sweepstakes.

To take part, you need to shop at a small business at Amazon.co.uk before 11 July 2022. Don’t be fooled by the American style ‘sweepstakes’ name, this promotion is only open to UK residents. You don’t need to be a Prime member to take part – but you do need to register before you shop, to ensure your purchase counts as a prize draw entry! You’ll earn a prize draw entry for every £1 you spend, up to a maximum of £1,500 in total.

With so many prizes on offer, this promotion offers a great chance of a win – so get browsing and get shopping!

Prime Day Sweepstakes Prizes

There will be a total of 15,670 Amazon gift card prizes – all winners will be chosen in a single prize draw ten working days after the promotional period ends on 11 July.

  • 30 x £5000 Gift Card
  • 130 x £1000 Gift Card
  • 440 x £500 Gift Card
  • 880 x £250 Gift Card
  • 3,470 x £100 Gift Card
  • 10,720 x £50 Gift Card

Each person can win a maximum of one prize from each tier (so up to 6 prizes!)

How to enter the Prime Day sweepstakes

  • Go to www.primedaysweepstakes.co.uk
  • Log in with your Amazon account details
  • Complete registration by agreeing to T&Cs and privacy policy – you’ll receive a confirmation email
  • Shop at www.amazon.co.uk at a shop showing the SMALL BUSINESS badge between 21st June and 11th July – for every £1 you spend, you’ll earn 1 entry (up to 1,500 entries)

Here’s the small business badge you’re looking for, which appears on product listings. Search for what you want to buy, then scroll through results looking out for the little shop icon to find valid sellers.

You can track entries on your dashboard at www.primedaysweepstakes.co.uk, but don’t panic if they don’t show – they could take up to 168 hours to appear in your dashboard (a whole week!). But as long as you made the purchase on or before 11th July it will be valid even if it takes a few days to appear on your dashboard. There’s a rather odd ‘You haven’t won a prize yet’ message on the dashboard, suggesting it’s an instant win – but it’s definitely a single prize draw (‘sweepstakes’) after the closing date!

Winners will be informed by email and will need to log in at www.primedaysweepstakes.co.uk to claim their prize – gift card codes will be automatically added to your credit once claimed. Even if you don’t receive a winning email, check the portal anyway as you may find a surprise win there!

The promotion is open to UK residents aged 18+ with an active Amazon account.
Check out the T&Cs at www.primedaysweepstakes.co.uk/terms

There should be a winners list up at www.promowinners.com/primedaysweepstakesUK for 8 weeks after 11 August 2022.

Good luck with this one – I’m sure lots of SuperLucky readers will be winners!

Just to say thanks so much for highlighting this comp! I got £500, £250 and £50 last month and just got wem for £100- I’m guessing from a wrap up draw. Not bad for 24 entries!

So check as others may have received another email. I went via the portal link above, just in case.

I won an extra £500! Although it’s a shame as it sounds like a lot of initial winners didn’t claim their gift card, I imagine a few people thought the winning emails were a scam and were wary of clicking the link.

I entered at the last minute and spent £7.25 and won a £100 and a £50,both added to my Amazon account. Also a mini football from. Your list of instant wins. Thanks Di.

Belated thanks for this Di – I’m returning to comping after a little break and just saw your most recent newsletter. I clicked on the link and discovered I’d won £50 off 4 entries. I’d missed the email from Amazon so might have missed the prize if it wasn’t for you. A nice first win back – even if it wasn’t as big as some of the other winners… I’ll take it!

Just received my £50, £100 and £250 voucher. Only spent £73.

    Thanks

  5. Susan Peart says:

Thanks so much for this, won £500 and £50

  6. AmazonUser says:

This is a scam. The company uses it to access your Amazon account. The company is posing as Amazon through their website and even claiming that Amazon are running the promotion.

Please DO NOT login using the portal as they will exploit your account

    • Bob says:

If this was a scam then please explain the £650 worth of giftcards i’ve just received.

      • AmazonUser says:

Those will have been purchased using an unsuspected persons bank details. This is how these gift card scams work.

Every person I know that’s entered this has ‘won’ upwards of £200 here. This would not happen with a genuine giveaway

        • Di says:

Please do your research before commenting. This is a genuine promotion (a version was also run in the US at https://primedaysweepstakes.com/ ). The portals have the PROMOVERITAS branding at the bottom so people can be assured it’s not a scam. Not everything that seems ‘too good to be true’ is a scam, which is why I’ve spent 13 years sharing tips and advice on this website to help people to distinguish between a genuine prize promotion and a fake one.

  7. Sarah R says:

    Won £100 & £50 & spent just £3! Thanks Di!

  8. Gill says:

Thanks so much for the heads up on this one Di, two wins of £100 & £50 which is about what I spent to get 135 entry points. Hope you’ve won too.

  9. Justine Hughes says:

I had two e-mails, noticed they didn’t capitalise the H in my surname.

Amazon are claing they’re fake and that they can’t access the portal, but going through your link it says I have won 2 vouchers as per the 2 e-mails I received.

    • Grace Collins says:

i had same, i am trusting the portal, but was concerned about link in emails and fact they went into junk. others said they won same comp last prime day so lets hope this is for real

      • Di says:

It’s genuine – you can see on the portal that http://www.PromoVeritas.com are handling it. I think the email went into some junk folders because it’s from the specific sweepstakes website email rather than an Amazon.co.uk one (sending it from Amazon would probably have been a better idea!).
Amazon customer services wouldn’t know anything about promotions running (the same happened with the big PayPal promotion last year – nobody at PayPal seemed to know anything about it!)

  10. Emma Russell says:

Woohoo I won a £100 voucher only just picked comping back up after a little break so absolutely thrilled!! Thanks Di! X

  11. Grace Collins says:

thanks for this. I had 2 emails in my junk file today, wasn’t sure they weren’t spam, so logged back on via your link and they confirmed i had won a £250 and a £100 voucher. waiting for it to be confirmed but thats christmas sorted!
