Cadbury Match and Win

Match and Win is back for 2019! Cadbury’s on-pack promotion offers some fabulous prizes for football fans – you might win one of ten ultimate Premier League match day experiences, plus they’re giving away up to 500 pairs of match tickets and more than 6 million other Premier League prizes. Plus this year there’s the added bonus that you could instantly win a fiver!

All you need to do is enter the barcode and batch code from a promotional Cadbury Match and Win product at and hope that your predicted Premier League score matches the real one! The highest predicted score will be 4-4.

The prizes

  • 10 x Premier League VIP Matchday Experience for two (1 per fixture week) including 5* accommodation

  • 500 x pair of Premier League matchday tickets (50 per fixture week)

  • 6,799,490 x Cadbury FC merchandise – hats, shopper bags, sports bags, keyrings (whewit looks like they’ve finally run out of scarves this year!)

  • PLUS! 200,000 x £5 (or Euro equivalent cash prizes)

How to enter

  • Buy a promotional ‘Match and Win’ Cadbury product (be careful you don’t buy 2018’s promotional packs – this year’s flash has ‘WIN VIP tickets’ on!)
  • Go to
  • Enter the bar code and batch code from the outside of your wrapper – watch out with the batch codes, the Os and zeroes look similar!
  • Register/log in to the website
  • You’ll be shown a Premier League result
  • If your predicted result matches the real result the following weekend – you win a prize!

You can enter a maximum of two codes per day, per person – but the only limit on prizes is that you can only win one of the Premier League VIP experiences. The batch codes are not unique, so you can enter the same codes multiple times. T&Cs do state ‘proof of purchase may be required for verifying the claim so please ensure you retain the promotional pack’  – from experience, I’ve never known Cadbury to ask to see the packaging before awarding prizes but you should always keep hold of it, just in case!

Entry for each set of fixtures closes every Friday at 4.59pm – until 25th October 2019.

If your score matches the real one, you’ll receive an email after the match to confirm you’re a winner, then receive an email by Friday the next week with details of the prize you’ve won.

If you win Premier League match tickets you will be able to select your preferred team and choose an available home game from the season’s fixtures. If no tickets are available for your selected team, you will be able to choose another team. At this point you can also choose someone else to have the tickets if you don’t want to go.

If you win an instant £5 prize you will have to claim it, and it will arrive by cheque within 28 days.

The main promotion runs over ten separate prize draws, over 12 weeks (there are two weeks without any Premier League matches, as there are international England fixtures on those weekends) and ends on 25th October 2019. There’s a late entry draw on 30th April 2019 with one £500 prize. It’s open to the UK and ROI – with a no purchase necessary route for Northern Ireland (see the T&Cs).

I can’t give you too many tips for this promotion as your success will depend on how the teams perform – but to get as many chances to win as possible, put your two entries in every day and get your husband/wife/partner to set up an account and play too! The instant win prizes are distributed by random algorithm (rather than guaranteed winning moments), so your time of entry won’t make a difference in this promotion.

If you want to know more there’s FAQs and T&Cs on the Match & Win website. Good luck!

i tried to put the codes in but it didn’t work

And I’m guessing they didn’t really intend giving many fivers away Joyce. Maybe a few hundred. Nice star prize though even though my scores don’t suggest I’ll be winning it !

COuld you share your batch code please, or anyone else for that matter, as i am stuggling to find one

      • Di says:

If you win you might be asked for the promotional packet so I would just keep hunting locally! I’ve found them in all the major supermarkets here in Brighton!

  5. Joyce says:

The prizes aren’t exactly inspiring aside from the cash and tickets. Why produce 6 million items of plastic tat when you could just give away chocolate??

    • Di says:

I wonder if they’ve had too much bother with people redeeming the coupons? A lot of stores refuse to take them unfortunately. Offering the cash prizes (even though they won’t all be won) is probably an easier option…

  6. joe says:

Do you think it could work like last year, where we just entered the same code over and over again?

    • Di says:

Yes – I would keep hold of your packet and use the same codes daily. Batch codes aren’t unique so that’s fine.

  7. Mojisola Ojo says:

Just to know, in the end, did they ask for receipt and packaging??

    • Di says:

I’ve not heard of any top prize winners (Premier League tickets & VIP) being asked for proof of purchase, no.

  8. Bob says:

The batch code won’t work for me

  9. Fergal says:

won 2 PL tickets today on first try NPN for ROI

Hi Di, I was fortunate to get a score correct. I’m still waiting to hear what prize I have won. Is this the same for you?

  11. Paul Morris says:

    Can’t remember last years password!!!

  12. Di says:

Unfortunately this closed back in December Stephen – you must have found some old stock in a shop!

  14. The terms say you should keep packaging AND proof of purchase (receipt) which seems like madness to me. I doubt they will ask winners for either!
