Costa Express Brighten Your Coffee Break – win up to £15,000!

If you’ve popped into your local petrol station recently you might have spotted advertising on the Costa Express machine for their ‘Brighten Your Coffee Break’ promotion. There are six separate prize draws at different chains, each with amazing prizes. Most participating Costa Express machines are at garages, but the promotion has also been spotted at regular Tesco stores too!

How to enter the Costa Express prize draw

• Buy any drink from a Costa Express machine at a participating venue
• Keep hold of your receipt from the till – this won’t be required unless you win
• Text the relevant keyword (see list below) to 78866 – this will cost you a standard rate text, around 15p.

In terms of participating venues, I would suggest this means from a Costa Express machine advertising the promotion – several garages are not advertising it, so it may be a risk to buy your drink there as your receipt may not be valid if you win.

The terms and conditions are rather contradictory regarding entry restrictions, but Costa have confirmed via email that multiple entries can be made in each draw. A unique receipt is required for each entry though – so if you make 6 entries for the Tesco draw, they may ask you to show 6 receipts if you win! Winners will be notified within 14 days. This promotion is only open to residents of Great Britain.

Where can I enter the Costa prize draw?

Tesco – win £15,000

• Buy at a participating Tesco petrol station or store, then text COSTATESCO to 78866 and you’ll go into a draw to win £15,000 cash.
• Closing date for Tesco entries is 16 October 2022.

Sainsbury’s – win £10,000

• Buy at a participating Sainsbury’s (it may only be at petrol stations!), then text COSTASAINSBURYS to 78866 and you’ll go into a draw to win £10,000 cash.
• Closing date for Sainsbury’s entries is 17 October 2022.

Shell – win £10,000

• Buy at a participating Shell petrol station, then text COSTASHELL to 78866 and you’ll go into a draw to win £10,000 cash.
• Closing date for Shell entries is 27 October 2022
