Funny Faces Competition: raising money for Comic Relief

For the past 25 years the money raised through Red Nose Day has been changing the lives of the poorest and most disadvantaged people in the UK and Africa. Let’s Keep Up the Good Work.

I’m delighted to be helping out Penny, Tanya, Annie and all the other blogging members of Team Honk raise funds for Comic Relief by giving you the chance to WIN an annual subscription to Compers News magazine (worth £59.40) in my Red Nose Day 2013 competition!

ABOUT THE PRIZE
I’ve been a Compers News subscriber for over ten years (and worked there as a designer and writer for 18 months) and the magazine and Chatterbox forum are responsible for me winning more than £50,000 of prizes, including a VW Beetle. And you don’t need to be a hardcore comper like me to enjoy it – there’s lots of easy postcard prize draws, children’s, creative and tiebreaker comps for beginners to have a go at – and lots of advice too. So even if you’re not a comper please consider joining in, because this is a prize that could change your life – yes, really. Big thanks to my boss Michelle for donating this fab prize!

ABOUT THE COMPETITION
This is a fun creative challenge based around this year’s Red Nose Day dinosaur noses, and to enter you’ll need to make a small donation to the #TeamHonk Fundraising page. Sadly I couldn’t make the #TeamHonk Snowdon climb earlier this month, so I’m aiming to raise a bit of money by hosting this competition, and I hope you’ll join in!

How to enter the Funny Faces Red Nose Day competition

make sure you have an official dinosaur red nose!

use your nose to create an imaginative funny face – it could be your own face, a painted face or a face created out of sausages, cotton wool, celebrities – anything you like!
snap a photo and send it to me via email (di@superlucky.co.uk), tweet it to @superluckydi or mention me (@superluckydi) on Instagram.
If you share on Twitter or Instagram, please use the hashtags #teamhonk & #funnyfaces
Donate £1 per photo to my #TeamHonk Fundraising page at my.rednoseday.com/sponsor/superlucky, using your Twitter/Instagram name or real name so I have a reference.

The girls at Spark and Fuse have kindly offered their independent judging expertise and will choose the photograph they consider the funniest to win the subscription. So get creative and make us smile!

The closing date is Monday 18th March 2013 – enjoy Red Nose Day on Friday and have fun!

T&Cs
• There is one prize of an annual subscription for Compers News magazine (12 issues)
• Open to UK residents aged 16 and over
• Closing date for entries is 11.59pm on 18 March 2013
• The photo must feature one of the official Red Nose Day 2013 dinosaur noses
• Multiple entries are permitted, but for each one a separate £1 donation must be made
• An album of entries will be published on the SuperLucky Facebook page
• The winning entry will be the funniest photograph, and will be judged by Spark and Fuse
• Winners will be informed by Twitter DM, Instagram comment or email within 14 days of the closing date and will need to respond with a postal address within 28 days or a new winner will be chosen.
• If the winner is a current Compers News subscriber, the 12 months will be added to their current subscription
