Hovis have launched a new purchase-necessary promotion, with a chance to win a fabulous five night family break to New York! There are also ten thousand Despicable Me 3 magnet sets to be won.

The prizes

• The grand prize is a five night trip to New York for a family of up to four – including £1000 spending money, a tour of the Natural History Museum, custom Minions science show and a make your own ice-cream experience
• In addition, up to 84 sets of fridge magnets will be given away in a prize draw each day (10,000 in total)

How to enter

• Buy a promotional Hovis Best of Both/Soft White loaf
• Go to http://www.hovisdespicableme3.com
• Enter your house number and postcode, then enter the code from the gold tag on your loaf
• Complete your name and address details

Each person can only enter once every seven days – although it’s fine to enter for a different person at the same postal address! It’s no purchase necessary for both ROI and NI residents – you can enter online without a code.

The confusing T&Cs state: “New York prize is for up to 4 travellers (1 traveller must be 21yrs+, plus 3 x 15yrs or under OR 2 x 15yrs and under and 1 x 16yrs+)” – so what’s that all about?

Hovis have given two examples of four travellers (two adults + two under 16s, one adult + three under 16s) but as it also states ‘up to’ four, so I presume 1 adult with two children, or two adults with 1 child would also be fine – and probably two adults alone (although the PR agency would no doubt be rather unimpressed with childless travellers!)

Magnet winners are chosen in a daily prize draw and contacted by email within 48 hours. The New York winner will be chosen at random after the closing date of 24th September 2017.
