Lucky Learners Facebook Group
The Lucky Learners Facebook group is the best way for new compers to get an introduction to the hobby, by interacting with thousands of experienced winners. Started ten years ago by Di Coke, Lucky Learners is a friendly chat group for anyone who loves competitions – despite what the name might suggest, it’s not just for beginners and many of the members have been comping for 25 years or more!
Request to join Lucky Learners at www.facebook.com/groups/luckylearners. Please ensure you answer all the questions – the admin team approve new members every few days and you’ll be tagged in a detailed welcome post. Lucky Learners is open to compers worldwide, although the majority of members are UK based.
In Lucky Learners you’ll find tips, advice and lots of stories from fellow compers. There are special member only giveaways, and opportunities to make tagging friends and even meet up with them in real life (a hundred of the Lucky Learners even went to Majorca together on a prize trip!). Every week there’s a new Winner’s Post where members share their prizes, and this is a great way for new compers to get an idea of the type of brands that run comps, and what prizes can be won!
Lucky Learners is set to post approval, to prevent it being flooded with repeat questions – so your post won’t appear in the group until it’s been checked by an admin. Sometimes admin will reply privately if it’s more appropriate. Using the search function and the helpful featured posts at the top of the group should help you to find answers to the most commonly asked questions about comping. Group members are always on hand to advise about possible scams, and share tips on how to avoid them.
The group is a supportive and positive environment, and you’ll find all this:

One thing you won’t find in the group is actual competition links, although there are plenty of tips to help you find comps in the group’s featured posts. That’s because comps have a home on the Lucky Legends members forum.
