March prizes – and an Advent win!

We’re a quarter of the way through 2021 already – can you believe it? March was a successful month for me in terms of prizes – I had a few nice wins as a result of ‘event days’ including Mothers Day, World Book Day, International Women’s Day and Random Acts of Kindness Day. On these specific days, I search Twitter and Instagram for giveaways using the hashtags and always check my mentions for tags from my comping friends too – it’s amazing how many short-lived giveaways you can enter on these days!

I also had notification of an advent win on 24th March – is this a record? In December I noticed the Telegraph were running a daily Advent comp where you had to answer 3 travel related questions. As the Telegraph comps are for subscribers only, I took out a free 30 day trial subscription for the month, as I knew they wouldn’t get many entries. It turns out I won the prize on both 8 December and 13 December! Watch our latest unboxing video to find out what I won!

I really enjoyed your unboxing video as usual Di and I loved the sake prizes. I’ve done well this month, I’ve won a Philips Perfect Draft Keg Machine and a keg of Budweiser in the Budweiser Premier League competition and I received an email yesterday to say I had won £500 in one of the that’s life competitions. This is a lovely prize but of course it does now mean I cannot win another Bauer competition for 6 months. I still feel very fortunate though. Happy Easter to you and all fellow compers.

Thank you for sharing your video. I enjoy watching. I need to learn the patience to save parcels up too, rather than open them the second they are delivered!

Most of the time it’s not too bad because I know what the prizes are – but if it’ a surprise I’m no good at holding on to it – I need to get myself organised so I can film the opening right away!

    Hi Di,
sorry that I haven’t replied in the past, but I was really busy into comping. Nice wins for march!!! The jumper is nice!
I was able to win some smaller prices an a few bigger ones, e.g. a cook book from a well known german cook Steffen Henssler ( he’s well known for his sushi and fish). I won a huge children’s book package. In the advent competitions I won a Star from a Tree in Bavaria. I won something to eat and cosmetics.

I hope you and your family are OK and take!!!

    Regards Jeanette from Germany
