The home of heavy metal – Thor Hammers
The Tig and I took the scenic route home today – Mum and I enjoyed a drive along the winding roads of South Wales up to see some wind turbines, then I carried on to beautiful Cardiff Bay for a photo opportunity outside the amazing Millennium Centre…
Then it was over the Severn Bridge (bring on the cruise control!) and up the M5 to Birmingham, where I pulled up The Tig in the car park of Thor Hammers for some heavy metal action – thanks to Kelly, Meds and Emma!
And, via Selfridges and St Andrews (and the Tiguan coped magnificently with the horrors of Friday rush hour Birmingham city centre!)…
… finally arrived home in Nottingham for a curry and a rest (and yes, I was tempted to eat that curry using my picnic tray in the back seat of the car, but I guess it wouldn’t have smelt too good in the morning!)
