The Samsung £500k Selfie
Samsung have just launched their latest flip phone and are celebrating with a HUGE competition – where one lucky winner will walk away with a whopping £500,000! For your chance to win, pop in to a UK Samsung store or participating retailer before 24 September 2023, and take a selfie using the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 or Z Fold 5.
How to enter
- Find your nearest participating store – retailers include Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung KX, Harrods, Selfridges, EE, Three, 02, Vodafone, Curry’s, Sky, John Lewis, WHSmith and Tesco and you can find a full list of every store here (unfortunately the PDF text isn’t searchable!)
- Find the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 or Z Fold 5 display model in store – the competition will be advertised on the lock screen and you need to tap the screen to enter.
- Take your selfie – there must be ONLY ONE PERSON in the photo!
- Complete your contact details – you may find it tricky in some stores to access letters on the keyboard due to the security case!
- After entering the screen shows a QR code which you can scan to share your selfie on social media (this is not a condition of entry)
You can only enter once and the winner will be chosen at random, so don’t go to too much trouble with props and fancy dress for this comp. Be warned that you may receive a follow up phone call about the new phones!
The winner will be notified by 5pm BST on 29 September 2023 via email, and the prize will be transferred to the winner’s bank account within 30 days of them verifying their identity.

Have I missed the winning email?
After entering are you supposed to receive some kind of confirmation? As I’ve received nothing.
How will I know my entry has been included?
No, you don’t get any confirmation by email – just on screen after completing your details.
Trawled through the store list found a one local to me but got there and they said we have moved phone out back as people kept trying to steal it. You will have to enter elsewhere
I’ve been into several of my local phone stores and they advise me you need to buy the phone.I said that you don’t but they said their phones weren’t connected to the internet so how did everyone work around this?? Thanks
You need to try a different store! I couldn’t enter in Currys or Vodafone but my local O2 store downloaded some software in order to connect to the internet so I could take part!
