Every year, Cadbury runs a massive purchase-necessary promotion giving away incredible cash prizes. And the best news is – they have permanently ditched the old “egg hunt” format!

The winning moments and prize draw formats make it much easier for dedicated compers to win a cash prize. Why? Because with the egg hunt, it was easy for anyone to win – you simply unwrapped your egg and followed the instructions on the enclosed ticket. You could win £10,000 without even knowing about the competition!

But with the new format, you need to know about the competition, take the time to verify your phone number and enter your details online – plus have the barcode and batch code ready to input. The terms and conditions also state that you may need to show a valid receipt to claim your prize – and we know that only a small percentage of non-compers keep receipts! What are the prizes?

The prize fund consists of hundreds of cash prizes, ranging from smaller amounts right up to massive five-figure jackpots! The biggest prizes are usually allocated to specific supermarkets or convenience stores, and payouts are typically made via BACS.

Because the eggs can sometimes be trickier to find right at the start of the promotion in the winter months, getting an early entry in can be a brilliant tactic for bagging an instant win prize!

How to enter the Creme Egg competition

• Buy a participating Cadbury Creme Egg product and keep your receipt safe (it’s recommended to take a photo of it!)
• Visit admit-it.cadbury.co.uk, and enter your mobile number
• You will receive a One Time Password to complete verification
• Enter your details, product barcode & batch code and choose your retailer
• Say how you eat your Cadbury Creme Egg (this has no effect on your chance of a win!)

Depending on where you bought your Creme Egg, you’ll either have the chance to win an instant prize or you’ll go into a prize draw. If you’re a winner, you’ll receive a confirmation email and will need to follow the instructions to claim your prize!

Important T&Cs

You can make one entry per Creme Egg product purchased, one entry per week and a maximum of twenty entries over the whole period. You can only win one prize per person per retailer.

The promotion usually kicks off at the start of December and runs until Easter weekend.

Don’t forget, with a winning moments promotion the first person to enter after the randomly assigned winning moment will win the prize, so your chance of a win is better if you enter at a time that less people will be taking part (usually between midnight and 6am!)
