August wins and two mini breaks!

This month I’ve had two lovely prize trips away – I used a £1000 First Choice voucher (won on TikTok last year) to book 4 nights in San Sebastian with Rob & Ryland, and we had a wonderful time. Rob proposed to me here on a prize trip 18 years ago and we’ve wanted to go back ever since. We ate some fantastic food, and visited the Guggenheim in Bilbao and the Real Sociedad stadium!

Then last week I enjoyed a short break in Norfolk thanks to the Wrigley’s Fruity gum instant win promotion – two nights at the Swallowtail Glamping Pod at Dilham Hall Estate. I took my friend Carmy and we were the only people staying there. It was fabulous – we had deer and hares wandering by, and it was lovely to look at the stars from our hot tub! I know several SuperLucky readers have won this prize so I hope you all have an amazing time there.

I also spent a weekend back in Birmingham (my first visit to my hometown in almost ten years!) meeting up with friends and going to see Birmingham City FC! And I’ve just returned from a few days in Wales with my parents. Thanks to all who have asked about my Mum – she’s in her third cycle of chemo now and doing well.

Of course, all this travel has meant I’ve not entered many comps, and all my spare time has been working on the Lucky Legends membership and forum. However I have had a lot of luck with Cadbury comps, as you’ll see from the unboxing video! When I’m too busy to do much comping, I will still check the compers shopping list daily and do the purchase necessary comps for products we buy regularly (chocolate and drinks!) – luckily I have a variety of supermarkets near my house and also my mum’s house, so I can grab a few qualifiers while I’m out and about.
