Cadbury Win a Day to Remember

Cadbury are celebrating their 200th anniversary with an epic promotion, with thousands of winners! It’s taken me hours to plough through the terms and conditions for this one as there’s so many prizes – but I’ve simplified it here in a blog post for you. It’s definitely a comp worth entering several times, and the main promotion closes on the 4 November 2024.

What are the prizes?

You can win one of 133,250 instant prizes and vouchers, or 5,947 prizes across 13 weekly prize draws.

Weekly prize draws

There are 13 weekly prize draws. When you enter, choose your prize draw category according to the prizes you would like to win (adventure, sport, travel, festivals or entertainment). Most prizes are equally split across the thirteen draws but if you’re interested in the SPORT prizes, do check the T&Cs to check it’s a prize you’re interested in before entering!

ADVENTURE (61 total prizes across 13 weeks)

There’s 2 draws with no travel winner between 9 – 16 Sept, and 23 – 30 Sept, and entries will roll over to following week – you might prefer to choose a different category if you enter in these weeks!

Instant win prizes

There are also 52,250 prizes to be won instantly if you’re the first person to enter after a random ‘winning moment’:

How many prizes can I win?

You can win a maximum of one top prize (the weekly draw prizes), and up to 20 voucher prizes (the instant win prizes) per person. So choose your category carefully – for example, a SPORT ticket win in week 1 means you can’t win anything else in following weeks!

How to enter Cadbury Win a Day to Remember

The entry process is more complicated than usual for Cadbury:

• Purchase a participating Cadbury or Maynards Bassetts product (full list of participating products is in the appendix of the T&Cs) – it’s OK if you bought the product before the start date of 5th August. T&Cs do not state that the product needs to have flashed promo packaging, and in fact some of the participating products on the list are ‘Home and Away Wins’ packs from the previous promotion!
• Go to winaday.cadbury.co.uk and enter the barcode and the batch code from the packaging (this part isn’t required if you’re in the ROI) – watch out as a zero in the batch code might actually be an O and vice versa!
• Choose your prize draw category – Adventure, Entertainment, Festivals, Sport or Travel
• Complete your email and phone number – you’ll receive a One Time Passcode via SMS message to enter on the website.
• Once validated, complete your contact details and choose your retailer to find out if you’ve won an instant prize.
• You’ll also be entered into the weekly prize draw for your category choice!
• All entrants will receive a Jet2holidays £75 discount voucher with their first valid entry

ROI residents don’t need to make a purchase – they can go to winaday.cadbury.ie to enter.

How do I know if I’ve won?

Winners of vouchers will be notified instantly on screen that they’ve won, and also receive a confirmation email. This will contain a code that you need to enter online to claim your prize.

Note that the Merlin Attractions tickets “are non-transferable and not for resale. Any purported or attempted transfer or sale or other misuse of the tickets will render them automatically void.”

The weekly prize winners will be contacted by email seven days after the weekly draw date.

Can I enter the Cadbury promotion every day?

You can enter this promotion once a day and 20 times in total, so consider spreading your entries out to ensure you get one in every weekly draw!

Considering the T&Cs are so long, they don’t say that winners will need to show any packaging or a receipt – except if you win a prize in the Tesco & Spar bonus draws. As with most Cadbury promos, I suggest it’s acceptable to buy once, keep the receipt and then enter the barcode & batch code multiple times – but get a new receipt within the correct dates for the Spar or Tesco draws (see below).

If you miss the main instant win period, don’t worry! There’s a prize draw from all late entries between 4 November 2024 and 6 May 2025, with one prize of a £250 voucher.

What are the bonus retailer draws?

Buy your qualifying product in Spar between 19 September and 9 October 2024 and you’ll go into a bonus draw to win one of five Sky Glass 43-inch TVs with a Sky TV subscription for 12 months (note that these dates have CHANGED since initial T&Cs were published)

Buy your qualifying product in Tesco between 19 August and 30 September 2024 and you’ll go into a bonus draw to win either a football hospitality day, ODEON Cinema Silver Passes, Alton Towers fast track passes or a Hyde Park Winter Wonderland bundle. There are also 15 Odeon Limitless pass prizes for Tesco shoppers.

What is a winning moment promotion?

Cadbury’s ‘Win a Day to Remember’ promotion uses a ‘winning moments’ format where unclaimed prizes roll over, and all prizes should be won. If you’re the first person to enter after a random winning moment, you win a prize. There are over 100,000 prizes/voucher codes guaranteed to be given away so you have a good chance of a win.
