70 mobile apps that could win you prizes
If you’re anything like me, you love the convenience of entering a comp when it’s quick, easy and in your pocket! These days, lots of phone apps offer the chance to win prizes, from instant wins to games and daily draws. Whether you’re waiting for the kettle to boil or watching TV on the sofa, these apps make it super simple to squeeze more comping opportunities into your day. In this post, I’m sharing a huge list of free apps that UK compers should have on their phone (please note that this post includes affiliate links and codes – if you download an app using these, I will get a small credit or bonus – thankyou!).
Please keep in mind that I do not promote gambling or raffles on SuperLucky, so these type of apps won’t feature in the list.

How to download an app
On an iPhone, look for the App Store icon on your home screen. On Android it’s the Google Play Store. Search for the app you want to download, and click to GET it. Or simply tap the app name on the list below for a direct link to the app website, then click to download from there.Running out of phone storage?
Both iPhone and Android let you temporarily remove unused apps without deleting them completely.
- iPhones are usually set to automatically offload apps you haven’t used in a while. If you’d rather choose which apps to offload yourself, go to Settings > App Store > Offload Unused Apps and turn the feature off. Then you can manually offload apps at Settings > General > iPhone Storage, where you’ll see how much space each app is using and have the option to Delete or Offload them.
- On Android, enable the Auto Archive tool – you’ll get a prompt to activate it if you try to install something and there’s not enough space available.
When an app is offloaded or archived, the icon still appears on your home screen – tap the small arrow to re-download the app when needed. Be aware that this might take a few minutes and use up mobile data, so try to download apps while you’re connected to free Wi-Fi!
Social Media apps
The apps that most compers probably already have on their home screen!
- Facebook – enter simple prize draws on brand pages
- Instagram – win everything from beauty bundles to holidays in simple prize draws and creative photo/video competitions
- X (Twitter) – Follow, repost, and reply to enter prize draws on X.
- TikTok – enter simple prize draws, instant wins on live giveaways, or get creative by uploading original content
- LinkedIn – businesses run occasional comps and prize draws to incentivise following and engaging with posts.
- Pinterest – comps usually require creating a themed Pinterest board
Supermarket apps
- Tesco – occasional prize draws on the app (it’s also handy to check which aisle in your local store to find products from the compers shopping list!)
- Nectar – the app offers discounts in store and prize draw entries when you buy certain products and scan your barcode, but the instant wins are actually hosted on the Nectar website
- Co-op – members app offers instant win and prize draw entries, scan in store for the chance to win in the monthly draws
- ASDA Rewards – Regular instant wins and occasional purchase necessary ‘missions’
- Lidl Plus – regular prize draws with thousands of prizes when you shop in store and scan the app
- myWaitrose – the app doesn’t feature comps, but there are occasionally prize draws on the Waitrose website where you need your member number to enter
- Morrisons More – scan app at checkout to enter their purchase-necessary prize draws to win points
- Iceland Bonus Card – scan app at checkout to enter their purchase-necessary prize draws
Money saving apps

- Uber Eats – member only prize draws
Health & beauty apps
- Superdrug – shop in store and scan the barcode on your app to enter their occasional instant win promotions to win points and prizes
- Boots – check your Offers on the app for prize draws – some are free to enter, for others you will need to make a specific product purchase. After every transaction, you can Play & Win on the app to win points instantly.
- Strava – Track walking, running, cycling and other workouts on Strava – check the Challenges tab and opt to take part in prize challenges hosted by brands. Once completed, you’ll be able to access a prize draw entry form.
- WithU – has a wide variety of fitness workouts – check the Challenges tab for prize-winning opportunities
- Adidas – sync the app to Adidas Running and use your Adiclub points to enter prize draws for signed sports gear and experiences
- Betterpoints – earn points from walking and cycling, and use them to enter prize draws or exchange for shopping vouchers (my referral code: JQRR-BYKG)
High Street store apps
- Levi’s – register for the red tab programme to enter exclusive member prize draws.
- JD Status – loyalty app for JD Sports shoppers, with the chance to win prizes when you shop
- John Lewis – regular prize draws on the app
- M&S – occasional prize draws and instant wins for SPARKS members
- Uniqlo – offers and prize draws for members
Venue apps
- Greene King Sport – Quizzes, instant wins and prize draws to win free drinks, sports tickets and merch
- MIXR – Instant win competitions with free drink and holiday prizes
- FANZO – a pub finder and TV guide for sports fans, with quizzes and instant wins
Mobile network apps
- VeryMe Rewards – instant wins and prize draws for Vodafone customers
- Priority – instant wins and prize draws for O2 customers

Utility apps
- My Sky – Sky customers can enter exclusive SkyVIP prize draws
- Octopus Energy – Octopus customers can claim freebies via the app, and occasionally enter competitions too
Sustainability apps
- Olio – this sharing app for local communities makes it easy to give away things you don’t need – they have regular prize challenges where you must list a certain number of items to gain an entry into the draw
- TooGoodToGo – collect bags of surplus food at a discounted price from local restaurants and shops – TGTG have occasional prize draws where you order from selected places!
Other recommended apps
- Jet2 – tap Offers and scroll to MyJet2Perks for the latest prize draws – they usually have lots of prizes!
- Shell Go+Rewards – the loyalty program offers discounts and rewards at Shell – look out for regular prize draws and instant wins when you buy a certain amount of petrol or diesel
- BPMe Rewards – scan your app when you make a purchase at BP for the chance to win prizes in regular promotions
- AliExpress – the app sells discounted products and has occasional instant wins and games
- Global Citizen – promotes digital activism, members can complete tasks (quizzes, signing petitions, posting on social media etc.) to earn points to enter prize draws
- TeamGB – check the Prizes & Offers tab for the latest giveaways
- TrainPal – occasional instant win promotions to win train fare discounts
- Blue Light Card – unlock offers and prizes for NHS, emergency services and social care staff
- Global Player – listen to the radio and enter their regular free draws to win cash (avoid the pay to enter ones, or check T&Cs for a free entry route!)
- Bicester Village – prize draw entries and offers for shoppers
- Libby – log in using your library card number to access hundreds of newspapers and magazines for free and search them for comps! (if your local library aren’t registered with Libby app, they may be registered with similar apps PressReader or BorrowBox)
