Cadbury Win the Captain 2021

Cadbury, Trebor and Maynards Bassetts are once again running a Win the Captain on-pack promotion, but for 2021 there are thousands of Love2Shop vouchers to be won in addition to the unique player experiences. This will no doubt be good news to those of us disappointed with the £5 Premier League club chop vouchers that Cadbury have been giving away lately!

Win the Captain is a winning moments format, so you should have a good chance of a prize if you remember to enter every day! The main instant win promotion ends on 27 July 2021.

What are the prizes?

There are five ‘tiers’ of prizes and you can win one major prize per person (from the top four tiers) – but you can win multiple Tier 5 prizes (Love2Shop vouchers). Redemption of Tier 1 & 3 meet and greet prizes are subject to Government guidelines and lockdown measures, and if Government guidelines restrict redemption of the prize in their current form, the promoter will work with the winners to move the prize to a later date or issue an alternative prize.

Tier 1: 7 x Meet a football captain

The 90-minute ‘Meet a football captain’ experience prizes include travel expenses from the winner’s home to and from the location where the Experience will take place (depending on location this may include flights and hotel accommodation), refreshments and snacks during the 90 minute experience, opportunities to take photos and autographs and a Cadbury gift hamper worth up to £50. You can take 3 guests and they can be under 16.

Tier 2: 4 x virtual player experiences

These 90 minute virtual experiences with a player will take place online, for the winner and 3 guests.

Tier 3: 10 x Captain meet-and-greet sessions for up to 30 minutes

How to enter Win The Captain

• Buy a participating Cadbury, Trebor or Maynards Bassetts product (it does not need to have the ‘Win a Captain promotional flash – regular packets are OK to use, as long as it’s a product listed in the T&Cs).
• Keep your packaging and receipt safe as it may be required to validate a win!
• Go to http://captain.cadburyfc.com 
• Enter the barcode plus the batch code from your packet (the batch code is the long code on the best before panel)
• Enter your contact details and state where you bought your product (remember, Tesco & Sainsbury’s purchases go into a bonus prize draw)
• Choose your favourite team from: Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs, Manchester United or Manchester City
• You’ll find out instantly if you’ve won a prize – if you’ve won, you’ll also receive a confirmation email within 7 days which will have a link to a claim form you will need to complete within 14 days to claim your prize.
• You can enter twice a day (codes are not unique so you can use the same ones)

The main instant win promotion ends on 28 July 2021, but if you miss that date you can still enter codes online for a chance to win one prize of £500 cash in the late entry draw (this closes on 28 January 2022).

The promotion is open to UK and ROI residents aged 18 and over. Northern Ireland residents can enter without purchase by writing their full name, full postal address including postcode, email address, phone number and date of birth on a postcard or a plain piece of paper and sending it to: ‘Win the Captain NPN 6964, PO Box 906, Aylesbury, HP22 9HR’. Only one NPN entry is allowed per day, and each must be sent in a separate envelope.

This instant win promotion is a winning moments format, which means that the first person to enter a code after each of the 2,004 random winning moments will win a prize! If there’s no entry between one winning moment and the next, the unclaimed prize rolls over and will be won by the first person to enter.
