Mars SupportHer instant win promotion

Good news! Mars have just launched their regular football-themed instant win promotion to celebrate the Women’s Euro 2022 tournament. Like Win2Gether last year, the new SupportHer promotion offers thousands of prize vouchers for free chocolate – plus cash prizes, TVs, football shirts and Legend experiences with an ex-Lioness!

The promotion started on 23 May and the instant win runs until 13 August – but unfortunately, some barcodes are currently being rejected! Mars are aware of the issue and hopefully it will be fixed soon. In the meantime, you can contact them for a replacement code to use.

What you can win

There are a total of 60,480 prizes (one for every minute of the promotion!) – these will be awarded after random winning moments.

  • 3 x Legend experience for 2 (watch a match with an ex-England women’s team player, including travel expenses and accommodation)
  • 5 x £1,000
  • 20 x TVs (actually supplied as a £300 Currys e-voucher)
  • 50 x Signed England Shirts
  • 250 x £10
  • 840 x £5
  • 59,312 x voucher for a free pack of Mars confectionery (value up to £1) – this will be a personalised voucher that needs to be printed off and will be valid for 30 days.

How to enter the SupportHer promotion

  • Buy a promotional Mars product (you’ll find the SupportHer flashes on Mars®, Revels®, M&M’s®, Minstrels®, Maltesers®, Twix®, Ripple®, Snickers®, Starburst® and Skittles®)
  • Go to between 9am and 8.59pm
  • Choose your preferred national team from England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland
  • Enter the last four digits of the barcode of your product plus your details
  • You’ll watch a short video that reveals whether you’re an instant winner!

Winners will receive email confirmation. Voucher winners can click a link and then print their voucher. If you don’t have a printer, you can request a coupon to be posted to you by forwarding your winning email to

If you win a cash prize, you’ll need to give your bank account details (don’t worry about doing this – it’s completely safe!).

You can enter once a day – keep hold of your packaging as it may be requested to verify a claim (in previous years the £1,000 winners have had to post off the packet). I suggest that as for 2021, buying once then using the same barcode to enter daily is acceptable – there’s nothing in the terms to suggest you need to provide multiple proofs of purchase if you’re a winner. The T&Cs don’t state any limits on the number of prizes you can win.

Don’t worry if you miss the main instant win period, as all entries between 14 August 2022 and 9 January 2023 go into the late entry draw with one prize of £500 cash to be won. Unusually, there was also an early entry draw for all entries between 25 April to 22 May 2022, which I’ve not heard of before! It seems like a sensible idea for when promo packs are in the stores much too early!

The SupportHer promotion is only open to UK residents and there’s a no purchase necessary entry route for residents of Northern Ireland – you’ll need to apply by post, so it’s probably better value to simply buy a chocolate bar!

Am surprised that winners still have to print off coupons to get their prize especially as most Manufactures are now trying to meet sustainability targets. The Zero Lucozade comp is the only one ive seen so far to move to complete digital platform so no printing required.

Oh dear! On claiming voucher prize, Mars have just stated that new packets (codes) are to be used with every entry. Need to put on weight anyway. Thanks for your reply.x

Anyone having issues finding a shop that accepts the vouchers? I have tried a Poundland,Iceland and Tesco Express

    • KAREN says:

Yes I had trouble in Tesco today but they did accept it in the end- but only I think as large queue building up.
Supervisor said coupon was invalid as expiry date handwritten. I explained Mars had sent me coupons per new on pack promotion,. He also disliked the fact that both coupons I had both barcodes the same.
I have sent Mars some feedback.

      • Sarah R says:

Yeh I don’t think i’m going to bother with the coupons anymore…makes me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed when they don’t know what i’m talking about and it gets rejected
