Batchelors instant win competition

The new Batchelors Final Fantasy instant win promotion is a timely competition for those of us stuck at home and filling our cupboards with pasta, rice and noodles to get us through the tough times ahead.

Prizes include PS4s, Final Fantasy VII Remake games and thousands of codes to use in the game. Every entry also goes into a prize draw to win a trip for 2 to Japan!

In my local Tesco yesterday the shelves were emptying fast, but there were still plenty of Super Noodles and Pasta’n’Sauce on the shelves, so stock up if you’re able to.

Batchelors Instant Win prizes

The instant win promotion started on 3 April 2020 and ends on 30 August 2020. There are a massive 300,045 winning moments, meaning you have a very high chance of winning – but before you get too excited, check the prize list:

  • 20 x PlayStation4 consoles
  • 20 x Standard Edition Final Fantasy VII Remake game
  • 5 x 1st class edition of Final Fantasy VII Remake game
  • 300,000 x codes for downloadable accessories for the Final Fantasy VII remake game (you must own the game to use these DLC codes!)

Grand prize draw

Every entry also has the chance to win an amazing week long trip for 2 to Japan in the grand prize draw, which continues after the instant win ends, until the closing date of 4 October 2020.

Late entry draw

Entries after 5 October 2020 and before 4 July 2021 will go into a late entry ‘wrap up’ draw – prizes are 100 DLC codes, plus any prizes not claimed from the main instant win.

How to enter the Batchelors instant win

  • Buy a promotional Batchelor’s Super Noodles or Pasta’n’Sauce product
  • Enter the batch code along with your details at www.winwithbatchelors.co.uk
  • If you’re the first entry after a winning moment, you’ll find out instantly which prize you’ve won!

Where’s the code?

The batch code is in a different place for each product – see the picture below!

It’s 6 characters plus a time for every product, apart from the noodle pot which has an 8 character code and time.

The promotion is open to all UK residents age 16 and over, and there’s a no purchase necessary entry route for Northern Ireland residents.

T&Cs state it’s only one entry per pack purchased, and the entry form does allow you to enter the same code more than once. Although the terms state you should keep hold of your packaging and receipt, it’s rare for a promoter to ask a winner to provide these. My recommendation is to always snap a photo of a batch code and receipt on your phone, so you have them to hand if requested – rather than rummaging through a box of old packaging to find the right one!

Batchelors Instant Win competition

There’s a maximum of five entries per person per week. Winners can can use a maximum of 5 DLC codes per PSN account.

You can find the T&Cs online at www.winwithbatchelors.co.uk

So this competition is a win every 48 seconds (on average) and yet I still have not won after a number of tries.

I presumed this was just one of those guaranteed win competitions, has anyone won yet?

    • Jordan-Lee Seal says:

Nope I’ve not I did it bang on 12 last night and I didn’t even know if I entered the batch code in right now I have to wait till next week on my current email to try again.

I’m suspicious about this too, having not heard of any winners! It’s almost as if they’ve not flicked the switch to activate prizes….

The terms don’t really make it completely clear how the instant winner is chosen.

They say prizes roll over if not won to another instant win ‘moment’ but the wording makes me think its perhaps a 5 or 10 second window and not the next person to enter after the winning moment. If its done like that there’s a limited advantage to enter during the night.

Given its almost impossible to book supermarket delivery slots, perhaps you should sell these noodles direct to consumers from here.

It’s VII not VIII (stated at the beginning of the article) I wish it were Haha. Thanks for the rest of the info though!

  4. Jordan-Lee Seal says:

Where do you find the batch code? Since that’s been confusing me all this time

    • Di says:

It’s just after the Best Before date on the reverse – eg. 0073AR on the packet, L001432B on the pots (the date may also be required – when the promotion is live there will probably be a clearer explanation on the competition website!
